Sad to say, Pat's article was the most astute analysis of what is going on in our country. We have been cruising on the Titanic with our government slowly and covertly steering and us right into the Iceburg. Naively we always thought our elected representatives actually were working for the betterment and benefit of America and Americans. But clearly they were not. And with Obama, it's full steam ahead moving faster and more purposefully into the burg in order to sink us for good. And Corporate America fiddles while America burns.
It's the most disgusting and perverted situation I can imagine. I couldn't even write a fiction this twisted. It makes one find Revelations' prophecies quite real, because what else would explain Congress to create and push policies and decisions that will clearly destroy their own country?
And it WILL end in Civil War, which is why the Second amendment will be the next government target. Disarm the populace and they are home free.
GOD DAMN THEM ALL TO HELL, MAY THEY ROT AND FESTER ETERNALLY WITH THE WORST AND MOST PAINFUL DISEASES IMAGINABLE. If I could think of something worse, I'd surely wish it on these monsters.
We can hope the 2010 elections at least put a brake on the direction we are going, but without a complete clean sweep to oust all incumbents, what will change? These people are committed.
God bless the Oath Keepers. I'll put my hope in them, in case God has abandoned us (and who could blame him for doing so?)
