As I write this, the Health Care vote has not yet happened, but is just hours away. Supposed Pro-Life Democrats have just jumped on board, which means it is pretty certain to pass the house... How did this happen?
The White House said Obama would issue an executive order after the passage of the healthcare reform legislation that would reaffirm the measure's "consistency with longstanding restrictions on the use of federal funds for abortion."
Anyone Remember this?: President Obama's first two executive orders -- allowing federal funding for overseas abortions and closing Guantanamo
Obama signed an order Jan. 23 2009 reversing the "Mexico City policy" -- a prohibition first implemented by Ronald Reagan, which forbade the U.S. government from sending money to overseas family-planning organizations that perform abortions or offer abortion counseling. The ban, which was lifted when Bill Clinton took office, was later re-established by George W. Bush in 2001.
So, what do you think the Liberals will do? Wait a couple months then after the elections make an amendment or some such and just as easy as that they are taking MY hard earned money, and handing it to people who will then use MY HARD EARNED MONEY to kill babies.

Speaker Pelosi has made a dictatorial sham of her office, Speaker of the House of Representatives. Carrying the House gavel in public like a club ... shame.
This is not Europe and Elected Officials do not march through the streets like European Fascists, Socialists and Communists do to display raw political power.
The Roman Tribune"Fasces" [as in "Fascism"] ... was a bundle of reed-rods surrounding an axe head... the symbol of ultimate authority and the power of Rome. Guards carried the Fasces at the head of the procession as the Tribune made his way through the crowded streets. The message was, "Get out of the way."
The symbolism is not lost on me. The Progressive Democrats are flaunting their authority and displaying their arrogance. It is a display of power that ought to be an affront to American sensibilities. That it is likely not an affront, says much about the sad state of the American Polity.
I have come to believe for some time that all of the so-called wavering Democrats would be bought off, cave-in, or otherwise abandon any integrity so as to pass this "Hallmark Legislation" of all Progressive-Liberals for 100 years. It is Hallmark because it is the launching pad for the transformation of our once Free Markets in in this Republic, in favor of a highly taxed, restrictive, and regulated Socialist-Democracy.
Two hundred and thirty-five years of freedom is being strangled slowly by an appalling ignorance of the US Constitution , a willingness of criminal politicians to thwart the Constitution & traditions, and to subvert the will of the people in order to achieve their statist aims.
Disturbing indeed.
