Good Idea from our fellow KC, Greg

The following letter has been attached to my Census Bureau's "American Community Survey" lengthy booklet. I intend to answer the forthcoming "official" census in the same manner.

Of 48 questions and a plethora of sub questions I chose to answer the following: 1)name , 3) sex, 4) age and DOB, 5) NOT of Hispanic orign, 6) white-and Proud !, 13) ANCESTRY OR ETHNIC ORIGN--AMERICAN. All others were marked N/A in Red.

I urge all to join me in resistence to Big Brother, despite their legal threats for forced response. If none do, then at least I hope the Obamunists put me in the same cell block as Rep Michelle Bachman..................GREG

Dear Sirs,
On Sat. 10/3 I received your “American Community Survey”. On Monday 10/5, I received a “reminder notice” from your Jefferson, In. office, requesting that if the survey had not been completed and returned …”to do so soon.” A reminder on the next business day? Is this a prudent use of taxpayer money? Ten days ago I received an entire second booklet, and today a phone call from your office. In this period of economic turmoil is your budget unlimited? I’m returning your booklet this date, which I contend is in timely manner--30 days.
Article I, section 3, clause 4 of the Constitution, directs Congress to authorize a census every ten years, for the sole purpose of…“apportionment of members of the House of Representatives and levy of direct taxes”. As a constitutionalist I voluntarily comply, and have answered those questions pertinent to your constitutional mandate cited above.
But after review of your lengthy booklet, I find most of the questions super cede your constitutional authority and are an invasion of my privacy. For that reason, those questions I feel are intrusive, and violate my rights under the 4th, 5th, 9th, and 10th amendments--have simply been marked in red “N/A-not applicable”. Those questions necessary to your constitutional mandate have been fully answered. I join congresswoman Michelle Bachman and countless other Americans in this response.
May I point out:

1) Your info booklet explains that my household was “scientifically selected to represent a cross section of my community”. I contend this method violates my rights under the equal protection and due process clauses of the 14th amendment. Either, unconstitutionally, you must force every citizen, legal, and illegal alien on U.S. soil to respond to all questions under force of law ---or none.
2) None of the information you request is necessary for the Federal Government to perform it’s legitimate functions as defined in Article I, sec 8- the enumerated powers clause.
3) You state confidentiality of answers is fully protected due to statutes you’ve adopted under Title 13 that provides fine and or imprisonment for census workers that misuse confidential information. If abuse wasn’t expected, and possibly pandemic, why take such a precaution? How many census workers have criminal records? How many have been properly vetted?
4) Up until a few weeks ago, your Bureau had a financial relationship with A.C.O.R.N.-a subversive Marxist criminal cartel, to serve as census workers. You expect me to take your confidentiality assurance seriously? Are you colluding with other radical organizations?
5) Last summer you unleashed a horde of part time, hastily hired, unvetted workers to GPS my home, and all other Americans. By what constitutional authority? For what purpose? At what cost to taxpayers? What does that have to do with apportionment of members of the house?
6) Even if your intentions are benign, I contend that the information you demand and “need”, that I opted to mark N/A, is already on file with legitimate governmental agencies : the IRS, the Social Security Administration, U.S. Post Office, bona fide agencies of my sovereign state of Florida, and my county’s offices of tax collector, tax assessor, building inspector, and zoning board. Much of the information you seek can be obtained gratis from Zillow. Com, sparing the tax payers billions. All other info is already on file for legitimate citizens.
In conclusion, over my lifetime, I’ve witnessed the federal government devolve from a constitutionally restrained limited Republic, to an Imperial unlimited leviathan Oligarchy. Over the last nine months, with abuses of federal power and the appointment of 35 unveted radical omnipotent commisars, this administration has not earned my trust to answer many of your questions. I urge your Bureau to return to it’s constitutional role as cited in paragraph 2 above. I have answered the pertinent questions, but humbly decline those that violate my privacy and constitutional rights.
Respectfully,
