WHY THE WHITE HOUSE BRIBED ROMANOFF TO DROP OUT OF COLORADO SENATE RACE

-WHY THE WHITE HOUSE BRIBED ROMANOFF TO DROP OUT OF COLORADO SENATE RACE Politics & Economics

Read the law about the purchase and sale of political office. There are 4 possible felony counts for every event of buying and selling public office. 18 USC 210, 18 USC 211, 18 USC 595, and 18 USC 600. You can look them up online. When politicians interfere illegally in the electoral process, it renders the public's vote meaningless. It distorts the citizens' ability to elect the government of their choice and lets the powerful manipulate the system for their own benefit. I don't know whether the allegations are true or not, but they are serious. It could be that this doesn't go anywhere simply because there isn't anything to the story. But if the allegations are true, than someone is guilty of felony corruption and interference with the election process. As for those who want to play silly distraction games -- "oh, look at the other guy," they aren't interested in finding out whether our government is clean or corrupt. They just want to score points. Too bad -- that's being closed-minded and partisan; that's not being a citizen responsible for supervising our government. (And there are those on both sides of the political spectrum who lose sight of their responsibilities just to score points.)
