To a few friends: I received this as a multiple forwarded article. There is a link within the bottom forwarded message that validates the information from the on-line site it is picked up from. It needs further consideration, regardless of anyone's approval or disapproval of the lifestyle involved.

When such a stated focus and goal is so purposeful, and the boast of is how many positions of inflluence have so far been achieved, how many ordinary functions and responsibilities of government are subordinated, postponed or overlooked in the process?

The purpose of government was never intended to be the vehicle for carrying out a single social preference or issue, across all aspects of government. The functions of government call for expertise in requirements and knowledge pertinent to a job, not a lifestyle.

All citizens are poorly served with such a organized special agenda as stated and boasted about here. Including those who prefer that lifestyle in private life, but do not carry it in public as a demand for special authority and influence.

The primary job of government is to protect all its citizens, not to give some of them special authority to decide what is most important in government.
