POLITICAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Dem vs. Repub

From our friend Z who always does all the digging to get to the FACTS:...

I am sick of Liberals suggesting that Conservatives are funded by special interest groups and are whores to business. Open Secrets has gathered data from the Federal Elections Commission that tells it like it is. We need to use this information to smash down the ignorant Leftist footsoldiers that parrot the mantra.

Banks -----------------------------1,481,352 -------------- 1,423,260
Investment/Securities --------1,868,602 ---------------1,097,433
Defense (Complex) -----------3,805,689 ---------------2,519,448

Hospitals -------------------------1,998.681 ------------------816,363

Obamacare must be a winfall for the healthcare industry...otherwise why such a discrepancy in donations? We knew it would be a boon to everyone EXCEPT for the American citizen/patient. What a crock.

The members of Congress who are up for reelection are dropping like flies. We need an ENTIRE revamping of government. I really think'we should
think about having our government composed of people who have real jobs and they can meet in Washington, D.C. every other weekend to vote on
IMPORTANT issues and paid per diem.
