When Obama emasculated the CIA and seriously restricted the NSA and other agencies, AQ and Hasan got a green light to massacre Americans in America.
What does Murtha, Kerry and the rest of the "Blame America Crowd" have to say? They are quiet as mice, no? Hey, Pelosi, did the CIA lie to you about this too?
There is smoke and fire here. This guy was radicalized in America by Radical Islamists and very likely assisted/supported by terrorist groups in getting the right weapons and the training to pull this off.
Obama and the Democrats now have the blood of soldiers on their hands at home in America too. Dither, dither, dither.
IMHO, Hasan would likely have been stopped earlier, before the deed, when the evil Bush was in office. Agencies did their jobs with confidence and without fear then.
The Agencies don't want to be hauled in by the Justice Department ... so... they are slower to act when time is of the essence. This is the direct consequence of what happens when you announce to the world that America is the villain, and that we are once again lowering our guard.
The media is quiet. The Obamanites and most of the media don't want the citizens to know the truth about our Government's investment of time[at least 8+ years], training and money to create this monster.
How about announcing some charges against Hasan including murder, Treason and Espionage for a Foreign Agent. Has the Southern Poverty Law Center and the ACLU raised their smarmy hands volunteering to defend Hasan yet?
Also, I am also dismayed at what sounded like less than full trust in commanders, leaders, and soldiers. With all due respect, our leaders should express more faith and confidence in soldiers' training and discipline, rather than worry about retaliations against our loyal Muslim soldiers. Such concerns should filter down the Chain of Command. Express open confidence in our soldiers to the media.
Do Americans have any idea how many qualified, patriotic and loyal Americans would have loved the opportunities given to this traitor to attend the US Army Health Services Academy for Medical School? It is a rigorous process and an honor to attend this USAHSA.
Similarly, every Service academy selectee goes through a series of brutal interrogation-like interviews, a formal shrink eval, and a thorough background investigation, not to mention sworn and oral oaths. Throughout our careers we have frequent updates of clearances as well as regular physical evaluations. I am greatly grieved that this man swore an oath to our Constitution and broke it. Senator Lieberman's comments are on the spot.
I wonder if Obama and his "Katzenjammer Kids" if subjected to strict security scrutiny standards could pass ... care to guess?
Everyone in uniform, every retired serviceman, their families and friends, and all Veterans , indeed all Americans are waiting for justice. And I don't mean an invitation to Hasan and his ilk to the Rose Garden to have a beer with the families of the victims.
Angry? You bet, and all Americans should be too. What ever happened to "Let's roll!" and "9-11, Never Again!"
